Spring or Autumn?

The Moda All-Stars and Martingale have teamed up for another book – All in A Row Again!  And you get to pick the cover.

Which cover do you prefer?  Spring Brights?  Or Autumn Harvest?

Make your choice and then cast your vote – Moda All-Stars Voting!

You have until 9:00 AM Pacific Time on Wednesday, March 15th.  Tomorrow.

The contents are the same – the rows shown on both covers are in the book.  It’s just the wrapping that’s different.

You can vote on the Martingale blog – and read about the creation of the two covers.

Or you can vote here – just leave a comment telling us which cover you prefer.

I’m torn, maybe put one on the front and the other on the back cover.

    • Linda H says:

They sell the back cover for advertising and would lose revenue. I think it’s a great idea, though!

      • Carrie says:

Not exactly. Book publishers – especially Martingale – never sell or use the back cover for advertising. It is used to describe the book and show more images of the book – cover art. It is magazines sell the back cover for advertising. 🙂

  70. Charlene Oconnell says:

    Spring for sure!!

  71. Nancy says:

Well, obviously I’m in the minority, but I like Autumn because IT pops more. Spring is so neutral and like so many books & magazines. I go for the ones with the dark covers that hit my eye first because there are so few of them.

  72. Leslee Price says:

Why not put spring on the front and autumn on the back?

    • Linda H says:

Great idea but that’s valuable advertising space and they would lose revenue on it.

    • Carrie says:

Hi Leslee – Book publishers – especially Martingale – never sell or use the back cover for advertising. It is used to describe the book and show more images of the book – cover art. It is magazines sell the back cover for advertising.

  128. susanmp14 says:

My vote if for Spring on the cover and Autumn on the back. Why not do different color ways for all of the quilts in the book. It’s so helpful to people who don’t have a knack for picking out fabrics and choosing a color way.

  129. Katie D says:

Spring Brights! I also like the idea of using Spring on the front and Autumn on the back.

  130. Laure Trimmer says:

Autumn Harvest – my kind of colors!

  131. Mom C says:

If I were browsing for a quilt book I would pick the Spring Bright. Probably because I prefer the cheery colors over the more somber colors of Autumn. My first reaction when I saw the book was, “oh no, my row quilt is still sitting next to my long arm waiting to be quilted.” I just loved the rows from the last book and made the quilt king sized. Figuring out how to quilt it calls for some in depth thinking and I just haven’t wanted to think that hard. So fun. Thanks.
