  2. Colors!!! Perfect release for Spring sewing! The pink OLISO iron sings to me!!! I had a yellow one that I wore out and hadn’t been able to replace. The STELLA lamp is wonderful too. Then all those beautiful thread sets….I feel like it would be Christmas in May!

  9. WOW! I love pink, the Stella light, the Oliso iron, the Fiskers rulers and cutting mats, holy pink Batman! I wish my LQS would get in Aurifil but they just changed thread brands so I doubt it. We only have a few LQS here on Long Island NY, I don’t buy a lot from them 2 of them started selling Moda last yr and still not much. I buy more on vacation, online or quilt shows to find what I’m looking for, it would be nice to shop close to home for quilting supplies. I’d LOVE to come and shop at Moda for 1 day, it would be like the quilters lottery. Unfortunately I’d probably go bankrupt after a buying frenzy. ;-> Thank you for showing us a notions explosion, it’s great to see what’s out there. Would love Karen Kay Buckley’s new pins, the Japanese needles, the new pink Oliso (great color!), the new Aurifil collections, new colors for cutting mats, the wool balls that would make great mini pin cushions or needle rests, need I go on…..All the items are great!!

  17. I love scissors and I have many pairs of them but I sure like the scissor cases – I might actually be able to pick out a pair of scissors from my bag without poking myself! The accuquilt dies are great, also.

  18. I am always on the lookout for a good iron and this one sounds great. I’m also interested in the Stella light and the pink rulers because they will help me see better when I am working or cutting fabric–something that gets more important with every birthday.

  37. Can’t go wrong with anything pink! The tie-in to breast cancer is important. The Stella sewing table lamp, Oliso iron, and Fiskars mats would be a celebration of survival, and an inspiration to be creative every day. Oh…. and they would be fantastic with my purple ironing board cover and purple rug from Ikea that sports a huge zipper down the center!

  43. The iron looks to be a perfect size for retreats, and the new cutting board would be wonderful. I read everyone talking about Aurofill threads and think it is about time I try some for myself.   44. They all sound like they would make quilting so much easier but my top picks would be the Oliso iron, Perfect Pins and the Aurifil thread. With those three things I could rule my little corner of the quilt world.

  46. I would love most #7… I really neeeed a new iron & I LOVE pink. I’m planning on some serious piecing with some of my new Moda fabrics from Edyta Sitar’s designs, and as my wrist has been aching from all the lifting of my old (very) iron, this one looks perfect for giving me flat seams with less stress on my wrist!

  50. I’m loving all of it! What I love the most are the AuriFIL threads! I’m just now starting my thread “coloring box” and I’m up to just plain old white, cream and black.

  51. I love the Mini Hex n More acrylic keychain. What a great item to keep in your purse while you go to different shops and audition fabrics for your next quilt. And I love the fact that such a small templates can cut so many different shapes!

  80. There are some really interesting things this year. #3 – Perfect Pins. It’s about time we invented these.
    #11 – I could use stronger needles. #13 – Red glasses. I had a pair 10 years ago and they were great. I want another pair. #21 – Screw driver that’s magnetic? Will that work on the computerized machines without causing trouble? Love the small size.

  85. I need a new cutting mat (mine got warped) and a new clear ruler (but I am so used to that 1/2″, don’t know if I can go without) and who wouldn’t want that pink iron?

  86. I love the pink Oliso iron, the red glasses, and especially the perfect pins! I have been on a life-long quest for super thin pins for doing hand-sewing and applique. The fine pins that are generally available are still too thick for me. These look like they would fit the bill 🙂

  92. That is a tough question, lol. Lots of great new notions. I think the pink mats are a great idea, then I can see where the mat ends and the table begins when I am cutting;) I love all the new Go dies that are made from the designers to work with their quilt patterns, makes it easier to cut out the appliqués and great for charity quilts too.

  106. I have already asked my LQS to get the mini Hex and More ruler. Those printable Heat and Bond sheets look interesting, and a pink cutting matt would certainly make cutting dark fabrics easier.

  107. that new iron looks fantastic. I find that pressing my fabrics before quilting to be one of the biggest challenges I have. That iron would most likely take that thank list sure and turn it into a pleasure.

  113. Great notions. The ones I am interested are the perfect pins, oliso iron, sew red glasses, always aurifil thread, and the screw b do. But my first choice is the iron. I am looking for a new iron and trying to decide which one to get.

  148. I actually do NEED a new iron! The teflon is flaking off mine, not good!! I also need a good light for close-up work, so I love the Stella light. Also love Aurifil thread and would love to have some more! And who could ever resist those fun-coloured and comfy scissors?

  150. Would love to try out KKB’s pins. I already think her Perfect Circles are wonderful. I first tried the Oliso iron at a retreat & LOVED it! The travel Oliso would be perfect for me! I saw the Screw-B-Do on The Quilt Show with Alex & Ricky. They loved it so how could I not??? Obviously Hiroshimo needles and Aurifil thread would always be welcomed!

  154. I’d love to try the perfect pins and the Hiroshima needles. Of course, I also love all new colors of Aurifil thread (my favorite!). I just bought a Roxette thimble and really like it.

  157. Anything from this list would be wonderful. But the absolute best would be the Aurifil thread collections. Beautiful colors and excellent quality. But then again, there’s the Oliso iron, and the pink mats…So hard to choose!
