My Redwork Garden

Hi! I'm Anne Sutton and welcome to My Redwork Garden!

Do you love redwork? It combines an iconic color combination in a way that is classic, and modern. It's embroidery - which you know I love.

I started with fabrics in red and cream, then added some beautiful white-on-cream backgrounds to create my new fabric line for Moda - it's called My Redwork Garden.  It’s twenty-two fabrics designed for redwork fun!

Fresh, crisp and cheery are the words that inspired this collection. The honey bees are buzzing, and the early birds are chirping. The flirty flowers, cobblestones, and dandelions lead you through my garden collection, and you’ll meet the rest of my group along the way.   These are redwork fabrics that I hope you will love!

Jelly Rolls and bundles pull these fabrics together for a charming, fresh look.  It’s the perfect collection to inspire everything from classic quilts, crafting projects to home decorating.  Let me show you what I’ve come up with for my newest patterns!

My Redwork Garden Block of the Month

How about a sampler quilt that includes pieced blocks, embroidery and, of course, appliqué?

My Redwork Garden is a twelve-month block-of-the-month that will measure 70" x 79".

Of course there is embroidery - redwork, of course. Isn't Millicent Mouse adorable?

Inspired by an antique 1927 children’s book she’s a “girly” mouse that loves to garden. She'd be perfect for a simple little pillow, or to adorn the side of a zipper bag? Maybe even on a linen handkerchief... does anybody still use those?

Moda is also selling a beautiful boxed quilt kit of this quilt to make your life easier!

A Selection of Mini Quilts

I’ve also created a selection of mini quilts that group for a wonderful display of wall art.  Here’s Flirty Flowers, Early Birds, and The Potting Shed.

Or, try my cross stitch mini for a classic stitchery with The Cottage On The Corner, and a small wool appliqué called Sweet Pea.

Tuck a few Hollyhock Cottages on a shelf, and add a chicken named Rosie for the perfect finish.

Decorate a table with my Jelly Roll table topper, called Dandelions

Designed for fun, I really love this collection.  Take a walk through my garden, and you’ll be glad you did!

Thank you, Anne.
