Blockheads ~ Block 18

Happy July!  While the past few days have been all about the red, white and blue here in the colonies, it's a whole lot more colorful in Figgyland.

Wonky Figgyland.  That's me, not Joanna.  And I blame the camera - phone - for flipping the orientation so that this blocks looks lopsided.  It's actually quite square - for a Rocky Mountain Puzzle.  A very scrappy one.

As before, the fabrics in this block are from Chestnut Street by Fig Tree & Co. and the background is from the upcoming Ann's Arbor by Minick & Simpson.

The block show above includes fabrics from Snowberry by 3 Sisters, Rachel Remembered by Betsy Chutchian and Grand Traverse Bay by Minick & Simpson.

This is Tammy's beautiful fall-inspired block - the fabrics are Sycamore by Jan Patek, Hope's Journey by Betsy Chutchian and Miniature Gatherings Backgrounds by Lisa Bongean.

If you're missing any blocks, alternate blocks or links to blog posts, you can find it all on the Blockheads Archive Page.

Question of the Week ~ Do you stitch every day?  Do you plan it?  Or is it a habit?  How much time do you spend each day sewing or stitching something?

I wish I could say that I did stitch every day but that's just not happening these days.  I do have to plan it - plan for it!  For me that means that I need to have something ready or store-bought for dinner, have an "in the works" project that is easily worked on in short spurts, and-or have a challenge of some kind that I'm determined to meet.

I'm actually working on something like that now... stay tuned.

That's it for today, July 5.  Be sure to visit Jan, Lynne, Betsy, Lisa and Jo to see their blocks and what other good things they might have made:

Be sure to see the blocks being posted to #modablockheads on Instagram and Facebook. If you're not already a member, you can also join the fun in the Moda Blockheads Facebook group.  It's a busy group with folks sharing tips, suggestions and support.

Happy Blockhead Wednesday!
