Sure Guide Needle Threader

The greatly improved Sewline ‘Sure Guide’ Needle Threader is here!

We are so excited it is here we are going to give one away*.
In addition to the threader, the winner will receive everyone’s favorite Sewline Glue Pen!
Read up on this new tool & leave a little comment below telling us your favorite feature of the new threader for a chance to win these awesome tools!

Sewline has enhanced their threader by redesigning the delicate mechanism which enables it to work for fine needles. They have created a new resistance mechanism that prevents it from breaking due to too much pressure being applied.

Sure Guide is equipped to thread the finest of needles effortlessly!
(sizes 9-12)

The adorable lipstick looking case slides open to reveal a clever mechanism.
Simply insert the needle and lay the thread in the groove. Pressing lightly on the lever directs a shaped pin into the thread through the needle eye. If the pin hits resistance it will stop, preventing it from breaking.

The case will hold needles and the top has a magnet so you can easily pick up those small needles. You can also clip your threads on the top! So many functions in one little tool.

Sure Guide threaders & other Sewline products can be found at your local quilt shop or
ordered wholesale from United Notions.

*One winner will be chosen on Monday morning. Make sure & check back to see if you won!

Oh, it’s adorable! I think I love the thread clipper best but the magnet will be very handy! Love it!

  2. sukie says:

I love that it can fit different size heads!

  3. B Greene says:

OK – this just shot to the top of my most-needed notion. I have that … age in life where it is pretty hard to see that the needle has an eye at all, much less actually get that pesky thread through it. Ok. let’s be honest here – sometimes it is even hard to see the needle. My favorite aspect of this product is its function!! Thanks for the chance to win!

  4. Paula McCown says:

So love this. As the eyes age, I need it now!!

  5. pennydog says:

I’m going to be annoying and say my favourite feature is that it threads needles 😛 The storage area will be useful though!

  6. I love that it’s an all-in-one gadget…stores needles, magnet to hold the needle you are using, threads the needle and clips the thread….and it’s a great color!!! Thanks for the chance to win!

  7. What a time saver! I hate having to try to thread a needle 10 times just to call someone else to help!

  8. Willa says:

I like the needle storage idea. Can never find one! Also the magnet is great — magnets are a favorite tool in sewing room and elsewhere!

  9. jfarr says:

O wow!! I want one. Yes, I too am at that age that it gets harder and harder to see the thread and the needle. Thank you for this chance to win one of these handy tools.

  10. mascanlon says:

So cute! I think my favorite feature is the storage function, nice not have both things together! Thanks for chance to win one!

  11. Miss Magpi says:

What a clever little device! My grandmother taught me how to sew when i was younger and donated all of her equipment to me since her eyesight made it nearly impossible to thread a needle. I would love to win one of these so i could give it to her so she can sew with ease again!

  12. Jenel says:

I love the magnet to help find the needle. I keep dropping mine on the floor! We have an area carpet that’s heavily patterned, so it’s almost as bad as searching in a haystack.

  13. Kathy MacKie says:

I like the idea of the magnet. Would be great to win one for sure!

  14. Unknown says:

I love the idea it’s all in one. A place to store your needles, a magnet to find that dropped needle and a threader with cutter. I love it!!

  15. Love it! Love the all in one feature!! Please enter me!

What a handy little tool. What’s so nice about it is the size -lipstick case. It would be great for traveling to tuck into your purse for those emergencies that seem to arise on occasion.

I LOVE that it looks like lipstick. This threader is awesome

  21. Mommarock says:

I love that it is a compact lipstick size case, in my favorite color. But best of all it is helping me resolve my needle threading problems. My eyes just can’t see the needle eye to thread it like I used to and this will let me use the thinnest needle to make my work dainty and delicate.

  22. DebrafromMD says:

I love the size of this threader. It’s small enough to go with me when I pack some handwork.

  23. Miss Jean says:

My eyesight is not the greatest so this little wonder will be a big help!

  24. WoolenSails says:

I love the idea that is threads fine needles, those are the ones we need help with, the most and I am always breaking threaders, trying to use them on small eyes.

  45. Cheryl Gomez says:

    I love the magnet feature.

  46. Denise says:

The best features to me are that I would not have to look for my magnifying glass to thread a needle. It does it for us! Even with glasses…it just can’t be done anymore. Also…the magnet would allow it to stick to my lanyard along with my scissors so I don’t loose it!

  47. Tracy says:

The best feature is it can do it for me and in the first try! These darn eyes of mine. Besides it’s a lot cuter than me!

  48. I like the new resistance mechanism!

No longer being able to see the eye of the needle, I really appreciate needle threaders. I like this all in one design.

  57. lanybleu says:

Apart from threading needles, which is a must have for us that struggle, the magnet is a great idea to find all those dropped needles.
A definite must have and looks great too.

  58. emmy says:

So glad to have a threader for the small size needles. I’m at the point where I can’t see the eye of the smaller needles. Thank you for the giveaway.

Looks like a great tool and love it because is small to care in a travel sewing case.

I love that this notion stores needles too. It is perfect for taking along to sew hexagons on the go.

  65. Marcia W. says:

Threading small needle eyes means fine thread too so this is important. The add-on that I like is the needle storage so have threader and needles together.

  66. kay says:

When I first read “What feature is your favorite?”, I thought “It threads needles, doesn’t it?!?” That’s still my favorite feature, but now I know that it does SO MUCH MORE! This little device is too good to be true!

  67. Peggy says:

Any help these old eyes can get is greatly appreciated. The needles being in the threader makes it even better.
Thanks for a chance to win.

  79. This looks like a wonderful tool to have – love the magnet. I really want one of these!

  80. Yes I agree with the previous comments, older eyes, smaller holes, etc etc but for ME the best feature is that IT STORES NEEDLES INSIDE!!! WOW! that is INCREDIBLE! I am forever looking for that darn pack of needles I bought the LAST time I could not find my hand sewing needles!!!!!!!Oh the money it will save me in running out to the store to get a sewing needle to finish a project!! KUDOS!!

  81. Beth says:

The magnet will be great since I do not have any nails. Plus the thread clipper would be great for air travel.
